There are many companies running internal web applications (by 3rd parties) that cannot upgrade past IE6 yet because IE7 breaks those applications.

Well, this experiment succeeded in proving to me that I cannot upgrade the computer I bought from VHP32 to VU64. I thought it could but apparently it can't. At least the hardware I got can't, even though it might be theoretically possible. When VU64 install completes, I consistently get a BSOD on the second reboot.
